The unemployment rate for the southeastern Connecticut has fallen to 2.5 percent, one percentage point less than the rate one year ago, reported the state Department of Labor.

There has been an increase in jobs offered by the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation and Mohegan Indian Tribe by approximately 2 percent as compared to a year ago.
