Conn. slot revenues slightly down

APRIL 17, 2001 March 2001 slot machine revenues at two tribal casinos in Connecticut were slightly down from a year ago the same month. Executives at the Mohegan Sun casino, owned by the Mohegan Tribe, and Foxwoods, owned by the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation, said weather is attributed to the slight dip. Combined, both reported slot earnings of $111.4 million, down 1.9 percent from March 2000. Mohegan Sun took in $50.6 million. Foxwoods took in $60.8 million. Each gives 25 percent to the state, coming to about $27.8 million. Get the Story:
