APRIL 18, 2001 A smoke-free slot machine room opens today at the Mohegan Sun casino in Connecticut. But its not only health conscious, its culturally sensitive. It has been christened the "Hall of Lost Tribes," by the Mohegan Tribe in an effort to commemorate the tribes of southern New England who befell genocide, disease, war, or assimilation. Casino executives say the new hall has been designated as non-smoking because it was customers' most frequent request. Get the Story:
