St. Regis Mohawk Subchief Richard Terrance says his fellow leaders set up him when they decided to sign an agreement with Park Place, the largest gaming company in the world.

As a result, Terrance doubts Park Place's intentions to open a casino in the Catskills region of New York. He was excluded from signing the deal with the company last month.

The tribe had another developer and a site in the Catskills for which they won federal approval. The tribe has to get approval for its new proposed casino now.

Terrance is under investigation by the FBI and the National Indian Gaming Commission for alleged conflicts of interest related to a check-cashing business he owned.
