Reservation is Third World training ground

MAY 25, 2001 The economic and housing conditions in Indian Country resemble the Third World so much that the National Guard is using the Red Lake Ojibwe Reservation in Minnesota to train troops for rebuilding impoverished countries. The National Guard will be building 58 houses for tribal members to help train for their nation-building missions. Get the Story:
