JUNE 1, 2001 A two-day summit on reservation economies began on Thursday in Great Falls, Montana. The summit focuses on economic development on resrevations in Montana and Wyoming. It is the first of its kind and is being sponsored by the Montana-Wyoming Tribal Leaders Council and Senators Max Baucus (D-Mont.) Mike Enzi (R-Wyo.) Unemployment on Montana's seven reservations averages above 67 percent, according to a recent study. Get the Story:
