JUNE 22, 2000 The familiar blips, whirs, and ringing of slot machines comes to the Spa Hotel and Casino in Palm Springs today. Owned by the Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla, the casino will begin offering 24 slot machines to its customers, thanks to expanded gaming made legal by Proposition 1A.
