Tribe prepares for Lewis & Clark

The Nez Perce Tribe is considering redoing its casino in anticipation of large crowds visiting the area during the upcoming Lewis & Clark bicentennial celebration.

The tribe may add a hotel, golf course, and entertinment and convention center to the casino. The tribe has put out bids for interested contractors.

Bicentennial celebrations are planned for 2003 to 2006.
