Native Corp. payout brings changes

A recent $408 million stock windfall for Cook Inlet Region Inc. has spiked car sales, home sales, made dreams come true, and increased the quality of life for shareholders of the Alaska Native corporation.

The corporation paid the one-time dividend thanks a some telecommunications stock payout. A typical shareholder with a hundred shares received $50,000 tax-free last December and another $15,000 in May.
