JULY 14, 2000 The Ho-Chunk Nation of Wisconsin have proposed a casino in the county of La Crosse and their proposal may go before voters in November. The Administrative/Legislative Committee voted unanimously on Thursday, July 13, to draft a resolution for consideration by the board next month. The tribe has proposed to give $2 million each a year to the city and county of La Crosse. Get the Story:
