Arizona Attorney General Janet Napolitano on Thursday said she won't try and shut down the state's tribal casinos despite a federal court ruling declaring Class III games illegal.

Napolitano said US District Judge Robert Broomfield's decision applies only to future compact talks. Broomfield is preventing the state from negotiating new compacts with tribes because he said the job belongs to the Legislature not Governor Jane Hull.
