Indian home ownership rises in Minn.

WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 1, 2001 More Indians are owning homes in Minnesota, according to data from the Census 2000. In 2000, 50 percent of Indian households owned homes, up from 43 percent in 1990. Tribal officials credit the gain to home ownership programs on reservations made possible through federal subsidies. Get the Story:
