Puyallup tribal members angry with their leadership have formed a group to challenge practices of the Washington tribe.

Members for Equal Opportunity and Responsible Government says the tribe is spending too much money on extravagances while elders and the youth go without services. Despite a successful casino that generates $30 million in profits, the group says only tribal council members see benefits.

Some of the perks afforded to council members include a rent-free home for chairman Herman Dillon Sr., salary advances, interest-free loans and special business deals.
