SEPTEMBER 13, 2000 As part of an effort to streamline its government, the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation of Connecticut has fired sixteen employees who worked in policing the gaming operation at their casino. The tribe said the employees were part of its government working force, not the actual casino. Get the Story:
