SEPTEMBER 14, 2000 The National Indian Gaming Commission says the recent firings of 16 inspectors who police the gaming operations of the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation won't affect the casino's integrity. The NIGC visits the tribe's casino, Foxwoods, at least once every quarter to make sure the casino and the tribe are abiding by law. Get the Story:
