Casino audits detailing sensitive and widely sought information about Minnesota's casinos will be made public within 10 days unless prevented by a court order.

The state attorney general has said the audits, which are collected sporadically under compacts signed with 11 tribes, are pubilc documents. Tribes and Charlie Weaver, commissioner of public safety, oppose making them public.

Various media organizations have sought the audits, which include information about profits, revenues, salaries and expenses at tribal casinos.
