Native firm ready to re-open after attacks

WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 19, 2001 Native Nations Securities, a Native-owned firm on Wall Street, said it was ready to re-open for business after last week's terrorist attack on New York City. The firm is located a few blocks away from the World Trade Center. Principal Valerie Red-Horse, who was in Los Angeles at the time, said 20 employees were evacuated safely. Another 35 were evacuated from a nearby office in New Jersey. Red-Horse said many of her employees used to work at Cantor Fitzgerald, a firm which has more than 700 out of 1,000 missing.
