Editorial: Indian bank has potential

MONDAY, NOVEMBER 19, 2001 In an editorial today, The Sioux Falls Argus Leader says there is great potential for a national Native American bank so long as it avoids high-risk loans and political infighting. "Unless the bank can overcome those problems, it's going nowhere fast," the paper writes. "But the potential of this operation far outweighs its drawbacks." The Native American National Bank is headquartered in Denver, Colorado, with a branch office on the Blackfeet Reservation in Montana. Get the Story:
