Peqout golf course has uncertain future

TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 20, 2001 The Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation of Connecticut has proposed to build an 18-hole golf course and resort but local officials are wavering on its approval. After consultants recommended the course be rejected, members of one group called the Inland Wetlands Commission appear split on the issue. A different board called the Planning and Zoning Commission will meet on November 29 and may reject the course if the wetlands people say no. Get the Story:
