A group of casino opponents has filed a lawsuit challenging the largest expansion of gaming in the state of New York.

Gov. George Pataki (R) signed a legislative package last fall to stimulate the state's economy. Included is the authorization of six Indian casinos.

The group, which includes two state lawmakers, says the expansion is unconstitutional.
