Mohegan Tribe might fire Andersen

The Mohegan Tribe of Connecticut is considering firing Arthur Andersen as its auditor due to the collapse of Enron.

Andersen has been implicated in document destruction and accounting mishaps for the failed energy company. While the tribe believes the firm has done a good job with its casino and businesses, it will re-evaluate its contract.

Andersen also works for the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation, according to The New London Day.

State Attorney General Blumenthal has launched a probe into the company's practices, which could result in a revocation of the firm's business license.
