TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 19, 2002

Voters of the Seneca Nation will not get a chance to approve a gaming compact with the state of New York because negotiations are still underway.

The tribe had scheduled a vote for its 7,000 members this month. The tribe won't go forward with three casinos if the membership disapproves.
