A federal judge on Wednesday ordered the state of Wyoming to negotiate a gaming compact with the Northern Arapaho Tribe within 60 days.

But U.S. District Judge Alan B. Johnson's order only applies to two types of Class III games: calcutta and pari-mutuel betting. The tribe, however, believes all casino-style games, such as slot machines and craps, should be allowed an might appeal the order.

The state is opposing the expansion of gaming.

The tribe resides on the Wind River Reservation.
