Five American pilots who participated in Sunday's attack on Afghanistan said in a press call with reporters last night that the strikes went according to plan.

The pilots, identified only by their call signs, said they felt no threat from Taliban anti-aircraft fire. Using B-52 and B-1 bombers, the pilots said their training sessions were more challenging.

Not allowed to specify their location, it is assumed the men were at the island of Diego Garcia in the Indian Ocean.
