NOVEMBER 10, 2000 Incumbent Slade Gorton (R-Wash) is the likely winner of Washington's Senate race, as his lead over Democratic challenger Maria Cantwell has increased. But votes from King County, where Cantwell has a strong hold, will be counted today. Still, Gorton has a lead of almost 15,000. Get the latest numbers:
