Pequot Tribe gets out the vote

NOVEMBER 1, 2000 Believing the upcoming election to be one of the most important in United States history, the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation is engaging in a campaign to make sure its nearly 12,000 employees are politically aware. The campaign included a voter-registration effort which resulted in 1,400 new voters. The tribe also plans on reminding voters to go to the polls on November 7. Get the Story:
