A Tulsa World analysis of Census 2000 figures shows that the three largest cities in the United States are also the three largest in terms of American Indian and Alaska Native population.

According to the Tulsa World, New York City, New York; Tulsa, Oklahoma; and Oklahoma City, Oklahoma are the cities with the largest Indian population.
