Norton gets Congressional aide

Colorado native and Washington, DC, lobbyist David Longly Bernhardt has been appointed director of the Office of Congressional and Legislative Affairs and counselor to Secretary of Interior Gale Norton.

The appointment does not require Senate confirmation.

Bush is expected to Tim Tymkovich, former Colorado solicitor general, for a spot on the 10th Circuit Court of Appeals, according to the Denver Post.
