Saying he was "home," former President Bill Clinton on Monday opened his new offices in the predominantly African-American Harlem neighborhood of New York City.

By a number of media accounts, Clinton received a warm welcome from his new neighbors. There were a few lone protesters, however.

Clinton first tried to open offices in downtown Manhattan but the price tag drew complaints. Rep. Chuck Rangel (D-N.Y.) then lured him to Harlem.

Yesterday's ceremony included a version of "We Shall Overcome" and "Stand by Me."
