Ever since voting against giving President Bush authorization to use military force to respond to last week's terrorist attacks, Rep. Barbara Lee (D-Calif.) has received death threats and "thousands" of complaints.

Lee was the sole member of the House to vote against the resolution. She previously opposed authorizing President Clinton to bomb Serbia.

Lee is currently being guarded by a police officer due to the threats.
