Alaska Natives complain of being ignored

Alaska Natives told a gathering on the future of the state that Native issues were being ignored.

One speaker, Augusta Reimer, said Native sovereignty was being left out of talks. She also said the Alaska Humanities Forum, who hosted the "Alaska 20/20: Alaskans Charting Our Future" conference in Anchorage, commissioned a poor poll on health benefits for Natives.
