Leaders of the Connecticut town of Preston criticized freshman Congressman Rob Simmons (R-Conn.) on Thursday for not helping resolve a dispute with the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation.

First Selectman Robert Congdon and other town leaders said they have mixed feelings about Simmons' involvement in the matter. Even though he arranged talks between three towns and the tribe, the leaders say he hasn't done much beyond that.
