WEDNESDAY, MARCH 6, 2002

A special division of federal appeals court today has ordered the release of the final investigative report into former President Bill Clinton's involvement with former White House intern Monica Lewinsky and Paula Jones, the woman who accused him of sexual harassment.

The report was authored by independent counsel Robert W. Ray. Ray concluded that enough evidence was available to charge Clinton with criminal misconduct for knowingly lying about his sexual relationship with Lewinsky.

But on the last full day of office, he cut a deal with prosecutors, states Ray.
