MONDAY, NOVEMBER 5, 2001

Some of the runners who will be carrying the Olympic torch for the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City have begun practicing the high honor.

Among the many Americans who will be helping out are seven from the Navajo Nation, who will carry the torch through the reservation. Each runner gets to carry the torch for 0.2 miles of the 13,500-mile throughout the United States.
