Osama bert Laden mystery apparently solved

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 12, 2001 The Associated Press and various Internet sources have apparently solved the mystery of Sesame Street character Bert's appearance alongside Osama bin Laden on protest posters in Bangladesh. AP tracked down the print shop who made the posters. Azad Products, located in Dhaka, says it printed the posters without looking at the images supplied. One of them -- taken off the Internet -- features Bert superimposed next to the suspected terrorist mastermind. By performing a Google search on "Osama bin Laden," the doctored image is one of the first hits. So, everyone can rest easy knowing that Bert was not involved in the September 11 tragedies, although the nature and extent of his cooperation in the shooting death of Notorious B.I.G., the demise of the XFL and the fallout of Gathering of Nations with Tom Bee is still unclear.
