AFN honors Elder of the Year

MONDAY, OCTOBER 29, 2001 Richard Frank was named Elder of the Year at the annual Alaska Federation of Natives convention on Saturday. The 74-year-old attended the first AFN back in 1966. He has since served as president of Seth-De-Ya-Ah Minto Corp., a Native corporation created as a result of the 1971 Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act. AFN ended on Saturday. Get the Story:
