NOVEMBER 20, 2000 A coalition of minority groups gave television networks failing marks for their underrepresentation of American Indians and other minorities. Overall, NBC, ABC, and FOX received D's while CBS received an F. An organization called American Indians in Film and Television helped participate in the rating of the networks. Sonny Skyhawk, the group's founder, noted that whites often play Native Americans and that historical and cultural inaccuracies are common. Get the Story:
