A year after being reawakened from a 16-year catatonic state, Cochiti Pueblo woman Patti White Bull is continuing her recovery efforts.

White Bull first fell into the state during the birth of her son, Mark. She re-awoke December 21, seeing Mark for the first time.

Doctors are unsure if she will fully be able to speak or move without assistance.
