The 2nd Circuit Court of Appeals on Thursday upheld a landmark $1.25 billion Holocaust settlement, overruling objections made by some survivors that the award amount was inadequate.

The settlement requires Swiss banks to pay money to Jewish customers who can show they deposited money into banks during World War II but never got it back.
