Alaska Natives targeted by teens

FEBRUARY 26, 2001 In what police are calling a hate crime, authorities in Anchorage, Alaska, are in possession of a videotape showing three teenagers singling out Alaska Natives and attacking them with a paintball gun. The teens haven't yet been charged because police say they are trying to build a case against them. The teens were located after a victim contacted police and gave them the license plate number of the car the teens were using. The information led police to the home of one where a paintball gun was confiscated. The search led to a second home where the videotape was discovered. Get the Story:
