LETTER: Towns paper living in La-La Land

"If the casinos were the real issues, fight to end casinos. We should not fight to deny Native Americans the right to recognition and the other benefits it brings, because you fear the impact of a casino. . . As for Congress creating an agency that is insulated from politics and big money, I ask what planet are you from? Are we talking about the U.S. Congress, where a congressman must raise about $10,000 a day to remain elected?"
