Forum focuses on racism in Alaska

Discrimination against Alaska Natives in Alaska was the subject of a forum at the University of Alaska in Anchorage on Friday.

The forum was called in response to the paint-ball attacks of three white teenagers on Alaska Natives. But it dealt with a wide range of topics including the lack of tenured Native professors at the school, pollution of Native lands, violence against Native women, and overall atttidues of racism towards Natives.
