Northern Cheyenne journalist dies

Don Hollowbreast, a Northern Cheyenne journalist who published the reservation's first newspaper died on Tuesday at the age of 84.

Hollowbreast began publishing the Birney Arrow in 1959. Because he was hearing impaired, he conducted interviews using Plains sign language and in Northern Cheyenne before translating them to English.
