Quinn Player of Indians dies

The entertainment world lost a transcendent character on Sunday. Anthony Quinn died of respiratory failure at a Boston, Massachusetts hospital. He was 86.

Born in Mexico, Quinn is famous for a number of ethnic-cast roles in which he played American Indians -- including Crazy Horse in 1941's "They Died With Their Boots On" -- Arabs, a Filipino soldier, a Chinese warrior, and Italians. His most notable was Zorba the Greek, in the 1964 film of the same name and he won an Oscar for 1952's "Viva Zapata!"
