Fulfilling a promise made to his grandmother, Navajo rapper Natay has spent the last three months recreating the Long Walk his ancestors took when the US Army forced them from their homes and interned them in a prison camp in New Mexico.

This Saturday, Natay plans to complete the journey. When he does, he'll be the first to have completed the trip on foot since 1868.

The US Army rounded up the tribe and forced them to walk to Bosque Redondo in Fort Sumner. They spent four years there and then walked back in 1868 after a treaty was concluded.
