Casino money has helped draw attention to tribes and American Indian voters this year, as candidates actively courted the Native vote at this week's Democratic National Convention in Los Angeles, California.

A Taos Pueblo delegate to the convention, however, said that only a small minority of tribes are successfully gaming.

The convention hosted the first Native American Caucus this week. Vice-Presidential candiate, Senator Joe Lieberman of Connecticut, addressed the delegation on Tuesday.
