Trahant: GOP gets plus mark

Mark Trahant, a columnist for The Seattle Times, says the happenings at the GOP convention have added a plus mark in favor of George W Bush.

Trahant says the GOP's affirmative action practices without calling it affirmative action has helped the party gain respect in his eyes, particularly with the amount of women, African-Americans, and Hispanics appearing prominently in the campaign,
