MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 10, 2001 The annual Indian Summer festival, one of the largest pow-wow and tribal gatherings in the nation, took place over the weekend. This year's theme was "Honoring The American Indian Woman." The festival contained a number of exhibits and tributes to Indian women. About 60,000 are estimated to have attended the three-day festival. Get the Story:
