Neb. powwow celebrates 10 years

MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 24, 2001 The 10th annual Intertribal Powwow was held at the Fort Omaha campus of Metropolitan Community College in Nebraska over the weekend. The powwow drew an estimated 2,000 people, along with more than 100 dancers, eight drum groups and exhibition booths. The powwow draws members of Nebraska tribes as well as those from nearby states.
