FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 2, 2001

The civil rights trial of six members of a skinhead group is set to close today in federal court in Montana.

Six members of the Montana Front Working Class Skinheads are accused of conspiring to violate the civil rights of racial and religious minorities for allegedly beating up minorities at a park in July 2000. All but one faces charges of violating civil rights as well.

Former members of the group testified that Native Americans and other minorities were targeted in what was called the "Park Patrol." They also testified they were rewarded for beating up minorities.

Members of the group deny participating in the attacks and deny encouraging any beatings.
